Hello. My name is Dana Skylar Blake. If you like, you can call me Skylar.
Behavioral Designer. Author. Podcast Host.
Change is supported by being seen. Calm creates capacity. Belonging primes resilience. Wholeness restores agency.
I am a behavioral designer and author whose work draws from cognitive and affective neuroscience, behavioral science, and choice architecture, to design human experiences that feel safe, clear, and possible. I work with individuals and project teams to create experiences that are emotionally intelligent, accessibly human, and grounded in nervous-system regulation—translating complex research into meaningful design.
As an expat, I write with lived awareness of belonging, identity, and the silent forms of transition that accompany major life change. As a daughter and a friend, I write with the love and compassionate journey of a person who has experienced grief and loss. As a mom and wife, I write with storytelling, mindset and belief that the path to wholeness is our hero’s journey.
I host a podcast exploring how behavioral science shapes our inner world—and how behavioral design can be effectively levereged to make our intentionality more accessable.
