Dana Skylar Blake

Sensory Experience Architect & Founder of lumina labs™

Hi, my name is Dana Skylar Blake, and I’m a Sensory experience designer.

I use neuroscience, physiology, and choice architecture to create sensory experiences that align with how the body and mind actually work, so that digital flows that guide action with ease, memorable experiences that build connection, and on-site immersions that leave people feeling restored.

I founded lumina labs™ as a remote innovation space, it’s my home for prototyping choice architecture, environmental flows, sensory frameworks, and ecosystem design.

Rooted in psychology, neurophysiology, coaching, product strategy, and applied behavioral design, my experience shapes our signature approach: blending applied research with creative practice to design at the point where science meets sensation.

Through this lens, lumina labs™ creates multi-sensory journeys, behavioral systems, and sensory-driven decision frameworks that shape attention, emotion, and choice. We help brands, founders, and research teams build CX/UX flows, trainings, methods, product ecosystems, and on-site immersions that feel intuitive, flow seamlessly, and engage naturally.

Unlike traditional labs, lumina labs™ exists as a space where applied research becomes practice — positioning itself as a thought leader in sensory experience design.

Here, you’ll find a backstage preview of recent projects — experiences crafted not only as aesthetic explorations, but as evidence-based frameworks where senses, brains, and bodies align.
